Frank will bring a medical malpractice, wrongful death action against Option Care Health for the treatment that OCH provided to his mother. A nurse agent of option care health negligently instructed Frank to administer cefepime antibiotics to his mother three (3) times more often than as prescribed by her physician. Frank followed the nurse’s instruction.
As a result, Frank’s mother suffered toxicity induced encephalopathy ; or brain dysfunction.
She was hospitalized for over two (2) months before passing away.
This lawsuit has been recently filed.
